I know I am behind the ball on commenting on this topic, but the results of the economic stimulus package show Obama and his Democrat counterparts were not too concerned with trying to meet Republicans halfway. Only three Republicans, spanning both houses of Congress, voted for this bill! What a good job bridging the divide Barack.
