Just two points...Obama promised to eliminate earmarks. He promised to go through the federal budget line by line. In fact, he is still promising those things today. Here is your chance Obama; veto this bill! This bill is not leftover from the Bush administration; it is on your plate today and covers the next six months of government spending!
At a time when American households are working to pay off their debts, the most indebted institution in the country, the federal government, is spending literally at record, once unthought of levels. Ridiculous.
All this money will need to be paid back. If we continue at this pace, we eventually will become so overburdened with debt that the only option will be to print more money, making the money we do have worthless.
Obama is a joke; get someone fiscally responsible in the White House!
